We've received our first donations and we're so excited!
We can't express how thankful we are to live in such a wonderful community. After only a few weeks of cleanups, we've already received several donations!
The City of Pittsburg's Adopt-A-Spot Program brought over tons of gloves, large bags, and reacher grabbers. This will make a huge difference since we were just using used grocery bags and bending over every few feet to pick up trash. They will also come by after we're done and pick up our trash for us.
The Pittsburg Performing Arts Academy has also donated plenty of safety vests. Walking down a busy street can be a bit scary so this will help keep us as visible as possible for cars passing by.
“Our goal is that people will see others cleaning up the street and be inspired to do the same.”
Our Next Mission
This Sunday, January 28, we will be working on another street to pick up trash. Meet us on the east side of WinCo at 2:00pm to clean up California Ave toward Loveridge Rd.
