Success! Even just two people picking up some trash can make a big difference.
So this group was started because a few residents on a Facebook page had expressed their concern for all of the trash that was plaguing their neighborhood. A few days later, two people decided to just get out and do something about it. After just one hour, we had picked up multiple bags worth of trash along with some large plastic items. I have to say, even though this was just a few hundred feet out of 19 sq. miles, it felt so great to look behind us and see a clean walkway.

Our Next Mission
Next Sunday, January 14, we will be working on another street to pick up trash. Meet us at the Railroad & Leland Starbucks at 10:00am to clean up the street going toward E Leland.
